Our Cork based US client is looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their growing team.

The role will entail managing all aspects of current and new client development with a strong focus on developing new business and attracting new customers. Target industries are Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Engineering, Electronics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and attract new sales and business accounts
  • Manage and grow existing customers business
  • Utilise leads and contacts within the given territory
  • Increase business with existing accounts
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Meet pre-determined quarterly sales targets
  • Pro-actively market and develop global brand
  • Report weekly/monthly to management

Skills & experience required:

  • Have 5+ years experience selling into the world of Pharma/Medical Device/Engineering/Electronics
  • Demonstrate proven track record in sales, lead generation and business development
  • Be Results Driven and Ambitious work ethic
  • Have Strong Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills
  • Be technically savvy or be positively disposed to learning technical aspects of the products and testing offering
  • Be confident in selling to decision makers at all levels
  • Manage in an organised and efficient manner and have ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Have ability to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions
