Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain precise stock control through regular reconciliation and scheduled stock takes.

  • Provide hands-on operational support during product trials, process reviews, and investigative projects.

  • Monitor, identify, and escalate potential stock discrepancies, ensuring clear communication with relevant teams.

  • Manage the onboarding, updates, and removal of stock items within the ERP system.

  • Conduct weekly stock reconciliations, resolve variances, and uphold high data integrity standards.

  • Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.

  • Actively contribute to departmental meetings and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.

  • Support material planning, stock forecasting, and NPD (New Product Development) tracking activities.

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining product codes within ERP systems.

  • Participate in sustainability initiatives and assist with related procurement and stock reporting.

  • Provide general administrative support for procurement and stock-related projects as required.

Essential Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP platforms (e.g., NAV, SAP, or similar).

  • Excellent numerical accuracy and commitment to maintaining high data quality.

  • Effective communicator with a collaborative approach and strong team ethic.

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and driven by a sense of urgency and ownership.

  • Enthusiastic learner with a genuine interest in procurement, inventory control, and supply chain processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in administration, stock control, or procurement support roles (preferred).

  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Excel and ERP/data entry systems.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG environment (advantageous).
