Job description

We are looking for a Marketing & Events Assistant to support the delivery of the company’s marketing activities and events. This role will assist with coordinating marketing campaigns, organising trade shows and events, maintaining marketing systems, and providing general administrative support to the marketing and sales teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is organised, proactive and interested in gaining experience across a variety of marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Marketing Support

  • Assist with the organisation and coordination of trade shows, exhibitions and company events
  • Support event preparation including booking materials, coordinating logistics and preparing marketing collateral
  • Assist with event promotion and post-event follow-up communications
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers when required

Marketing Campaign Support

  • Assist with the coordination of email, digital and postal marketing campaigns
  • Help prepare and distribute brochures, marketing materials and promotional content
  • Support the delivery of inbound and outbound marketing activities
  • Assist with basic campaign tracking and reporting

Marketing Content & Communications

  • Support the creation and editing of website, email and marketing content
  • Help ensure website content is accurate and up to date
  • Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations and marketing documents
  • Support marketing communications and social media activity where required

Marketing Systems & Administration

  • Maintain and update CRM records and marketing databases
  • Assist with maintaining contact lists and marketing data
  • Support the preparation of reports and campaign tracking
  • Assist with maintaining product information for marketing campaigns and website content

Team & Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing and sales teams
  • Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and documentation
  • Help coordinate marketing projects and ensure materials are prepared on time
  • Support day-to-day marketing administration tasks

Skills and Experience

  • Some experience or qualification in marketing, communications, events, or business
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms
  • Basic experience using Canva, Adobe, or other design tools
  • An interest in marketing, events and communications

This is a 9 month maternity leave contract.
