About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Service Administrator & Lead Generator to support the growth of our medical equipment service business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and contacting GP practices, health centres, clinics, and surgeries to generate opportunities for our ultrasound equipment servicing, repair, maintenance, and replacement services.
This is an ideal role for someone with strong communication skills, excellent administration abilities, and confidence speaking with healthcare professionals over the phone and email.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Research and identify GP surgeries, medical centres, clinics, and healthcare providers.
- Proactively contact decision-makers via telephone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Introduce the company’s ultrasound servicing, maintenance, and equipment repair solutions.
- Generate qualified sales leads and book appointments for the sales team.
- Maintain and update CRM records with accurate customer information.
- Follow up on enquiries and maintain regular contact with prospects.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers.
Service Administration
- Support the coordination and scheduling of service visits and repairs.
- Prepare customer quotations, service contracts, and renewal documentation.
- Process service requests and customer enquiries efficiently.
- Maintain service records and documentation.
- Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and customers regarding service schedules.
- Ensure customer data is accurate and compliant with GDPR requirements.
- Produce weekly reports on lead generation activity and service administration performance.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in sales support, telemarketing, lead generation, customer service, or administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
Desirable
- Experience working with GP practices, HSE organisations, private healthcare providers, or medical equipment suppliers.
- Knowledge of ultrasound equipment or medical device servicing.
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Understanding of service contracts and maintenance agreements.
