Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the Human Resources function, ensuring efficient and compliant HR operations.
- Foster a positive and engaged workplace culture through clear communication, effective people management, and employee-focused initiatives.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Partner with department managers to provide guidance and support across all aspects of employee management, including recruitment, training, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and development.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and on-boarding.
- Coordinate and deliver a seamless on-boarding experience, ensuring all new hires receive the necessary documentation, training, and support before commencing employment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation while supporting a paperless HR environment.
- Monitor statutory training requirements and arrange refresher training where required.
- Coordinate training schedules and support employee learning and development initiatives.
- Support managers with disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring adherence to company policies, employment legislation, and best practice.
- Prepare and submit weekly payroll information accurately and within required deadlines.
- Support the roll-out and implementation of company-wide HR projects and initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with department heads and the wider management team.
- Monitor employee attendance and absenteeism, supporting managers in addressing attendance-related matters.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources Management, or currently working towards a recognised HR qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR role within a busy HR environment.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and a people-focused approach.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive situations, resolve conflict, and support employee relations matters.
- Proactive, professional, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
