Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven HR Manager to focus on leadership coaching, employee retention, engagement strategies, and recruitment within our retail, multisite environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing leadership capabilities across multiple locations, enhancing employee satisfaction, implementing retention initiatives, and ensuring that the organization attracts top talent. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with regional and site-specific leaders to drive positive organizational change, build a high-performing workforce, and support the recruitment process across our sites. Additionally, proficiency in HRIS systems is essential to effectively manage employee data, track performance metrics, and streamline HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Coaching:
- Design and implement leadership development programs tailored to the unique needs of retail leadership teams across multiple sites.
- Provide one-on-one coaching to retail managers and supervisors, helping them enhance their leadership skills, team management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Assess leadership competencies at various levels and create personalized development plans for site leaders and senior managers.
- Facilitate leadership workshops, training sessions, and seminars, either in-person or virtually, for retail leaders to ensure consistent leadership development across all sites.
- Monitor and track the progress of leadership development initiatives across sites, offering feedback and recommendations as needed.
Employee Retention:
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies that address the unique challenges of a retail, multisite workforce.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends and root causes of employee turnover, and work with management to proactively address retention concerns.
- Collaborate with site leaders to ensure competitive compensation, benefits, and career development opportunities are in place to retain top talent.
- Develop programs that recognize and reward employees at different locations, fostering a sense of belonging and loyalty.
- Implement tailored retention programs to meet the needs of employees in diverse roles, from frontline associates to senior retail managers.
ecruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Lead recruitment efforts for retail positions across multiple sites, including store associates, supervisors, and managers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and design effective recruitment strategies for each location.
- Manage the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews, assessments, and onboarding.
- Utilize HRIS and recruitment tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems) to streamline and track recruitment activities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the organization’s staffing needs, ensuring diversity and inclusion are prioritized in the recruitment process.
- Promote the organization’s brand as an employer of choice, attracting high-quality talent to all retail sites.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, analyze trends in hiring, and adjust strategies as needed to improve the recruitment process and outcomes.
HRIS Management:
- Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee records, track performance metrics, and monitor the effectiveness of leadership, engagement, retention, and recruitment programs.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within the HRIS system, providing insights and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with the IT and HR teams to continually improve HRIS processes and integrate new functionalities that enhance HR operations.
- Generate HRIS-based reports to analyze employee trends, turnover rates, engagement levels, and leadership development progress across sites.
- Train HR staff and leadership on the effective use of HRIS tools to ensure proper utilization and data accuracy.
Metrics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to leadership effectiveness, employee retention, engagement, and recruitment, tailoring reports for regional and site-level leadership.
- Provide regular reports to senior management, showcasing the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives at both the corporate and retail site levels.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement using employee turnover data, satisfaction surveys, recruitment outcomes, and other HR metrics.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in HR management, specifically within a retail, multisite environment.
- Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition for retail positions across multiple sites.
- Experience with leadership development and coaching in retail settings, with a strong understanding of the challenges and dynamics of managing multiple sites.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems to manage employee data, track HR metrics, and generate reports.
