Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Irish IT function, setting strategic direction and ensuring successful delivery of local projects and initiatives.

Plan and execute technology programmes and systems implementations in a structured and effective manner.

Enhance the customer experience through the delivery of integrated, intelligent digital solutions.

Provide monthly reporting and updates on project progress, risks, and issues to the Irish and Group IT senior leadership teams.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure IT services are delivering maximum value.

Identify opportunities for system upgrades, configurations, or new technologies, supported by clear strategic plans.

Manage the Irish IT budget, ensuring responsible spend and strong return on investment.

Develop and maintain IT performance metrics and reporting frameworks to drive service improvement and operational efficiency.

Establish and manage IT business practices and processes in alignment with the broader IT governance framework.
-
Continuously seek and implement opportunities to enhance process efficiency.
-
Ensure IT infrastructure across all retail sites is maintained, supported, and prepared for business continuity at all times.

Oversee cyber security measures and ensure compliance with internal controls and risk management standards.

Work closely with Group IT leadership to support and influence global strategic initiatives and standards.

Contribute to the wider Irish senior management team and the broader IT community as required.
Candidate Profile:
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
-
Honours degree in IT or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
-
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant IT experience, including at least 3 years in a senior IT leadership role.

Demonstrated experience in managing IT budgets and delivering measurable returns on investment.
-
Familiarity with cloud platforms is preferred.
-
ITIL framework experience is essential.
-
Prior experience with POS systems and ERP platforms is advantageous.
-
Experience within a multi-site retail or similar customer-facing environment is highly desirable.
