Job description

As a Construction Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by generating new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. You will play a key role in promoting our construction services and ensuring client satisfaction through a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the construction industry through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including contractors, project managers, developers, and architects.
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Conduct presentations to potential clients, clearly explaining our services, capabilities, and the value we bring to their projects.
  • Negotiations & Contracts: Lead negotiations with clients and close deals, ensuring contracts are aligned with company policies and profitability goals.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to strategically position our services.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting: Meet and exceed sales targets. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales within the construction industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Existing network of industry contacts.
