We are looking for a Lab Support specialist (Endotoxin/Bioburden) to provide exceptional technical support assistance to support lab instruments and software used within the Pharmaceutical, Medical-Device, Biotechnology industries.
You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, promoting products, and ensuring high-quality technical support. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in the field, collaborating with different departments to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support at customer premises.
- Respond to technical enquiries via telephone and email.
- Install, validate, and calibrate customer instrumentation.
- Demonstrate and support various software products.
- Assist customers with technical information and troubleshooting.
- Travel nationally as required.
- Maintain and improve procedures within the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
- Organize calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Key Competencies:
- All instruments fall under the spectrophotometer category so experience working with or calibrating this type of equipment is required.
- Ideally someone with experience working with sensitive lab equipment.
- Experience working with endotoxin or Bioburden
- A solid understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and pipetting is the most important requirement.
- Strong technical skills and product expertise.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to quality and accuracy.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to inform and educate customers effectively.
- A full drivers license is a must!
