Production Technician/Operator

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture batches in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including filling, capping, and labelling as required.

• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

• Perform equipment checks and calibrations as scheduled.

• Liaise with support staff to ensure material requirements are met in a timely manner.

• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

• Troubleshoot production issues and work collaboratively with Quality Control and Planning teams to meet production targets and timelines.

• Participate in upskilling and cross-training opportunities as required.

• Contribute effectively to functional and cross-functional teams.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager or members of the management team.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)

• ISO 17025

• ISO 9001

• ISO 17034

• Chemistry and chemical handling principles

• Good understanding of batch manufacture and documentation practices

Qualifications:

• A third-level science qualification, preferably in Chemistry or a related discipline.
