Our client, a leading healthcare solutions provider, is seeking an ambitious and clinically focused Hospital Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through education, clinical support, and relationship management.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will support business growth across the portfolio while acting as a trusted clinical partner to healthcare professionals throughout their territory.
Key Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in an acute hospital or healthcare setting.
- Clinical Educator experience would be highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and develop relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in business development are desirable, although previous sales experience is not essential.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
- Ability to understand and discuss clinical and technical information with confidence.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline is desirable.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals across hospital and community settings.
- Deliver clinical education, product training, and ongoing customer support to ensure the safe and effective use of products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Act as a clinical resource, providing advice and guidance on infection prevention best practices.
- Support the implementation and adoption of products through effective stakeholder engagement and education.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
- Keep up to date with developments in infection prevention, healthcare policies, and clinical guidelines.
- Attend and support conferences, workshops, study days, and other educational events.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and clinical value.
- Represent our client professionally and ethically at all times.
